RECRUITMENT 2025

Moving away to college can feel like a big step — new city, new faces, new chapter, and stepping into the unknown of sorority recruitment. I remember how nerve-wrecking it felt moving away from home, not knowing what was to come. It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about this new chapter of your life! But, what I quickly learned is that being open and authentic led me to friendships and a sisterhood that made OU truly feel like home.

Now three years later, as Alpha Phi’s VP of Membership Recruitment, I feel so lucky to have trusted the process and find girls that show nothing but constant support for every high and low in my life, and I can’t wait for you to find that same support here at OU!

My best advice for you during this time: remain true to yourself, lean into every moment, and know that there’s a place — and people —  ready to welcome you with open arms. Just know, whether you're nervous, excited, or somewhere in between, there is a house full of women ready to cheer you and we are so excited to meet you!

XOXO,

Riley Pond, VP of Membership Recruitment
