RECRUITMENT 2026
Coming into college, it can feel like a big change, with new surroundings, new people, and the beginning of a completely new chapter, especially with recruitment ahead. I remember how overwhelming it felt at first, stepping into something so unfamiliar.
This experience is meant to be an exciting and fun chance to meet other girls who will also be going through recruitment alongside you in the fall. Don’t put pressure on yourself to say the “right” thing or look a certain way, you don’t need to be perfect.
For me, everything changed when I stopped overthinking and just was myself. That’s when I found some of the most genuine friendships and a sisterhood that made OU feel like home. Now, two years later as Alpha Phi’s VP of Membership Recruitment, I’m so thankful for all the people who have been there every step of this journey with me.
As you go into this experience, give yourself grace, be present, and trust that you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be. There is a place for you here, and there are so many girls ready to welcome and support you. We truly can’t wait to meet you!
XOXO,
Hannah Rosson, VP of Membership Recruitment
