Alpha Phi takes pride in our involvement in OU Campus Activities. From the day new members receive their bids, up until graduation, Alpha Phi focuses on not only sisterhood and improving our organization, but by bettering the campus and Norman community. Our chapter strives to uphold our ideals of sisterhood, innovation, generosity and character while participating in various campus activities. Our members are on the Campus Activities Council, Camp Crimson Staff, and more. Alpha Phi competes annually in University Sing, Homecoming, and Sooner Scandals.
OU dance marathon
Alpha Phi participates in OU Dance Marathon (OUDM) which is an event put on by the Campus Activities Council at the University of Oklahoma! OUDM benefits Oklahoma's children by raising money for the Oklahoma Children's Hospital Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Oklahoma Children's Hospital Foundation funds research at the OKC Children's Hospital to ensure every child receives the best care, regardless of the families ability to pay. This year, Alpha Phi raised over $25,000 for OUDM!
SOONER Scandals
Sooner Scandals, (OU's greek performance competition), is a time for the members of Alpha Phi to showcase their talents. This past year in Scandals 2024, Alpha Phi was paired with the men of Sigma Chi!
UNIVERSITY SING
University Sing (U-Sing) is one of OU’s greatest traditions. Each fall, organizations come together to create a 10 minute broadway style musical. This past year, Alpha Phi and the men of Kappa Alpha Order were paired together!
Homecoming
For the previous Homecoming, Alpha Phi and the men of Delta Upsilon and Kappa Alpha Order were paired to dance to their routine of “Clue”. The show takes place once a year and is performed in front of hundreds at OU's Rah Rally!
