Alpha Phi is not just a big white beautiful house to me, it is truly my home. Looking back at the past three years, I wish I could go back and re-live it all, every single bit. I would go back and reassure my 18-year-old self that the decisions I had made to come to the University of Oklahoma and to join Alpha Phi were not only good decisions but two of the most influential decisions of my life.

I know I would not be the woman I am today if it were not for this place. This place has built me up, challenged me, caught me when I fell, pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowed me to be my best, and has given me so much more than I could ever give back to it. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for my place of belonging in this house. My college experience has been unforgettable and priceless thanks to Alpha Phi. After joining this one-of-a-kind sisterhood, I became passionate about sharing my own experiences and telling every open ear why I was immensely proud and fortunate to be an Alpha Phi. It has been the highlight of my college career to serve as the Vice President of Recruitment and continue the proud legacy that Alpha Phi is continuing to create at the University of Oklahoma. 

At Alpha Phi, we pride ourselves on our sisterhood that lasts a lifetime, the common bond of scholarship and innovation, generosity and philanthropic involvement, and the development of deep, genuine friendships and strong character. To prospective members, I wish I was back in your shoes. I wish I got to relive all of my amazing years of being an Alpha Phi. The next steps you are about to make will take you on the most incredible journey. You will meet people you will become inseparable with, that will teach you, love you, grow you, encourage you, and always be there for you. This is an experience that you will never forget and never want to let go of.

Recruitment is about finding your place. A place that will enrich your time here at OU in remarkable ways and will provide you with 4 years plus a lifetime of boundless love and sisterhood. We CANNOT wait to finally meet you in August and welcome you into the place that we all adore and share with you why we each chose Alpha Phi.

As Vice President of Recruitment, I am prouder than words to continue the legacy of Alpha Phi. Any alumna member can write a Recommendation Form, which can be submitted through our online portal at the link below:

A recommendation letter and/or reference form can be submitted for each potential new member participating in formal recruitment at The University of Oklahoma. Both forms are accepted by Alpha Phi and can be emailed or mailed in.
